Yuna’s Cardboard Castles
Yuna’s cardboard castles shows her unique art of folding paper and cardboard, but it is so much more. When Yuna and her family moves to a new part of the world the changes can be very hard. It is even harder when you don’t speak the language of new children and must learn how to make friends and connect. Yuna’s cardboard castles help her do just that. The castles help her make friends and find ways to play and communicate with the other kids. Yuna’s new friends help her to learn a new language.
This is a really cute book and really shows the story of friendship, even if one doesn’t speak the language of others. I like that the kids worked together to make a cardboard world together. The illustrations are cute.
