Star Wars: Guardians of the Whills: The Manga (Star Wars: Guardian of the Whills)

I can’t say enough great things about this graphic novel. Rogue One is probably my favorite Star Wars movie of all time and seeing the characters in a different medium was amazing. The author does such a great job of showing the characters’ relationships with each other in a fun and teasing kind of way. The facial expressions really match up with the mood of the scenes and the artwork was beautiful.

There was also a surprise appearance from Saw Gerrera, again. He just keeps popping up, but his character is always fun to think about, whether it’s worth it or not to go to extreme lengths to rid planets of the Empire. Personally I disagree with him, but it was nice to see Baze and Chirrut respond to the question.

The characters and storyline seemed to fit into the movie cannon and it was, overall, a very nice, quick read. If you like these two characters, the Star Wars films, or any of the other books, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this book.
