Piglette’s Perfect Surprise

//Piglette’s Perfect Surprise// is the story of a little piglet who lives in the pasture but loves to visit Paris! Piglette loves everything about Paris and helps Madame Paradee in her perfume shop when she’s there. Madame is about to have a surprise birthday party and Piglette wants to give her the perfect present. Piglette goes into a store with cakes and flowers and learns how to bake fancy cakes with flowers to give to Madame at her party. Piglette tries hard to make things perfect for Madame but finds out in the end that she maybe didn’t need to try so hard.
The pictures in the story are so pretty! There are lots of pinks and sparkles in the pictures. The story is fun to read because it shows that you don’t need to try to have the perfect gift because a lot of the time people want homemade things that the person made just for them. I wasn’t able to read every word on my own because there were a few French words, but it was fun to hear my mom read the story as a French person. This story will be enjoyed by kids of all ages.
