Insomniacs After School, Vol. 2

Sleepless Nakami and Magari meet each other at an inactive observatory. In order to keep their napping routine, they plan to start up the astronomy club again with the help of a Sensei and a former astronomy club member. As the two insomniacs bond over their insomnia and the astronomy club, will their friendship and relationship blossom into something more? Read on to find out.

The premise of the story sounded interesting, but I thought Volume 2 was really slow because it felt like not a whole lot happened. In a nutshell, this volume is about meeting Shiromaru and watching Nakami and Magari’s relationship grow closer. I felt like this volume could have been combined with another volume so there’s more action. I usually like slice-of-life stories, but this one dragged on for me. I hope Volume 3 has more going on. I do like the simple illustrations, and the cover art was pretty with Magari looking so happy and sweet under the night sky. I recommend this manga to those who enjoy slower slice-of-life stories.
