Ink Girls
Cinzia is a printer’s apprentice, and her mentor is being put in jail for writing things against the powerful royal family. Cinzia tries to prove to everyone that her mentor didn’t do anything wrong. In her fight for justice, Cinzia becomes friends with Elena, a royal who is soon to be the princess, and Carlotta, a pirate girl who doesn’t play by the rules. Together, they will fight using their voices to make things right.
I liked the art in this book because it was so detailed and beautifully drawn. I could tell the artist took their time on all the shading. Cinzia and her friends were really inspiring because they showed how powerful girls can be and what you can do when you use your voice to fight for what’s right. My favorite character was Elena because I thought she was really nice. I recommend this to people who like adventure books and books about justice.
