Eowulf: Of Monsters & Middle School
Meet Eowulf. She’s the descendant of the legendary monster hunter, Beowulf. Eowulf is keeping a secret from her friends; she’s actually a real warrior, and she fights monsters with her talking sword. Eowulf has a new mission: she’s trying to befriend a kid named Amadeus, who’s the most hated kid in her school. The reason she’s doing it is because Eowulf and Amadeus have to fight a big villain, who’s trying to wreak havoc, and it’s the only way to save everyone.
<br?I liked the art in this book, and the story was good. The one thing that I didn’t like as much was the theme. I just don’t like monsters and fighting that much, but it was a good book overall. My favorite character was Eowulf because she’s nice to people and she’s brave. My favorite part was when Eowulf made her sword pretend to be her, sleeping, and she used it to try and trick her mom. I liked how so many things connected in the story, and how it all made sense.
I recommend this book to people who like books about fantasy, missions, D&D, and monsters.
