Doodleville #2

Drew’s doodles are alive. They mean well, but they can be a little troublesome. Drew recently went to the Chicago Art Institute, and when she got back, one of her doodles had stolen a hat from one of the paintings! Now all Drew has to do is give it back without getting noticed. Easy, right? Not for Drew. A worker at the institute saw everything, and she’s not happy about it. Drew’s friends have been arguing over the situation, and Drew doesn’t want to choose sides.

This sequel was very similar to the first, so the plot was pretty predictable. Other than that, I thought it was funny and heartwarming, but serious and kinda sad at times. There were a lot of scenes full of action, drama, and detailed art. I also like how the panels are layered and how all the characters are so diverse! My favorite character is Zenobia because I like the colors she uses in her drawings. I recommend this sequel to doodlers who like thinking outside the box.
