Benji Franklin: Kid Zillionaire
Benjamin Franklin (aka Benji) was a normal kid until he developed the phone app Excuse Yourself, he quickly became an overnight zillionaire! Now he has to save pre-historic dinosaurs, get rid of a meteor hurtling straight to Earth, and figure out what to do with all of his money. Will he save the dinosaurs, Earth, and his money or will the planet be destroyed and he loses everything? Benji Franklin: Kid Zillionaire is a hilarious story and I loved it. I thought it was funny that at the most calming times something had to happen. Raymond Bean made a work of art with this book and I felt privileged to have read it. Benji is a character you can relate to most of the time. Of course, I couldn’t connect to the dinosaur capturing, going to space, saving the world, or being a zillionaire, but I did understand being a kid and having a lot of pressure put on me. I didn’t think I would like this book but I was glued to the pages until the very end. Definitely five stars, and this is a great book, even for kids who might not like reading.
