Victories (Shadow Grail #4)
This book was super boring. So lame. It made me yawn all the way through it. I wish that I had read anything else; it was just so boring. Maybe it would be interesting if you just wanted to know everything about the characters, but I couldn’t bring myself to care. Their snarky banter was incredibly irritating and unoriginal, and their experiences were banal and mundane. It is the latest book in the series, of which I haven’t read the others, but I know everything about those from this one (to my regret); it seems like the only important thing that happens in those books was that someone died and they escaped from school.
So here’s the pitiful plot. Spirit White (this is the dumbest name ever) and her friends have finally escaped Mordred’s evil school, but now they must rescue their canaille friends. Spirit mopes her way through pages, struggling to discover her worth, which, of course, turns out to be that of the Chosen One (in this case, Guinevere; her boyfriend turns out to be King Arthur). She has to defeat Mordred before he nukes the world. And really, she shouldn’t have been worried; he is the stupidest villain ever.
