Otherbound

If you want an adventure book, this is your book. It is an awesome read for somebody who wants to escape into other worlds. The storyline kept me guessing right up until the last page. I could see any age enjoying this book.

The story is about two people, a boy and a girl, named Nolan and Amara who are somehow linked so that Nolan can see Amara’s view when he closes his eyes. Nolan lives on Earth, and his parents believe he has epilepsy because of his blackouts from seeing Amara’s world. Amara’s world is full of magic, mages and odd creatures. Amara is tasked with protecting a cursed refugee princess. As the story progresses, Amara and Nolan discover more about their odd link between two worlds.

I really liked the character development throughout the book, and it was very clear but complex how Amara and Nolan both matured throughout the book. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend, and I will look for this author in the future.
