Atlantia
A hot and fresh look into an underwater world, where keeping secrets and betrayal is normal. Rio lives in what is known as the Below, but all she’s ever wanted was to live Above. They made the Below because living Above is said to have problems, such as pollution. The end result in creating the Below was for people to be safe and live a long happy life. Atlantia intrigued me because it’s about a girl named Rio, who has to hide the fact that she’s a siren. Tact on her mother’s mysterious death and her sister’s betrayal as she chooses to go to the Above. Rio has nobody until she meets a kind-hearted boy and an unlikely ally who she may or may not trust.
This wonderful underwater adventure has everything from romance, mystery, and a heroine that you can’t help but root for. Rio is the type of character who’s intriguing and kick-butt at the same time. Utterly captivating and gorgeously written, readers won’t want to miss out on the next dystopian novel!
