Playground
This book starts out with a boy and a girl and a cat. They ask, “Do you want to come with me?” They want to get to the playground. They go through the forest; they say, “We have to go quick! The birds are hatching!” And a little bird follows them. Then in the swamp, the alligators are following them. Then they get to the cave. They go through the cave, and the bats are following them. Then they come to the monster and they step over the tentacles, and then they get to the playground, but it’s not very fun. There is only a swing and a slide. So they say, “Let’s go back and do it again!”
I like this book because I like how all the animals follow them as they go through the different places. The places are like mazes you can find a way for them to go over. The drawings have a lot of interesting animals and things to look at. It looks like everyone is really having fun! It is funny that the playground is so boring but they have so much fun getting there that they want to do it again!
