You Might Be An Artist If ….
You Might Be An Artist If is a book that faces the reality of being an artist. The world truly isn’t like a story book–quite the opposite. This book has a Boy/Girl artist struggling in the real world as an artist. This book is the definition of relatable and funny. The Boy/Girl really shows how random life is, by art. When He/ She interacts with other characters, it always ends up in a pile of awkwardness, and that’s what makes it funny.
Although this book is beyond hilarious, it was NOT made for children; it includes swearing and other inappropriate references. But I understand it was an adult comedy, and it’s not completely made for children, so I can’t complain that much. It actually does its job really well. As previously said, its bite of reality is really refreshing, and it has a great sense of humor, poking fun at every little detail of life. It also includes details from outside the book and from social media, such as Harambe the Gorilla, etc.
