Queen Dog
Queen Dog is about a puppy who thinks of herself as a queen and of her people as servants who take care of her. She gets to sit on a throne (her purple pillow), goes on quests for treasure (walks in her neighborhood), and is fed royal meals. Queen Dog has a really good life, until…
One day, a new visitor arrives! At first, Queen Dog is excited because she thinks she can have tea with her royal visitor. But the new visitor turns out to be a baby who is either very loud or very boring because she sleeps all the time instead of playing with Queen Dog.
When the baby has a birthday party, Queen Dog thinks she is getting a golden wand. But someone gives the wand to the baby! What? Will Queen Dog and the royal visitor ever be friends?
I liked this book so much because the story is cute, and I love the pictures! My favorite part is when the baby gets the wand, and Queen Dog cannot believe someone would give a gift to such a noisy girl! She is an adorable baby, but I can understand why the dog would not like all that noise!
