The Zodiac Legacy: Balance of Power

Steven has no powers, having lost them to the evil Dragon Maxwell, but his girlfriend Kim is trapped in a volcano, and of course he has to save her. Not coincidentally, his Zodiac powers are trapped there, too. He retrieves her and them and comes back to the Zodiac headquarters to find that Jasmine, the former Dragon leader of the Zodiac team, has trapped herself in the mind of Carlos, the team’s technician. Steven then sends out a team to disrupt Maxwell’s plans for the time being, and Steven takes his own team to go and stop a chain of volcanoes from erupting. Will Steven be able to shut down Maxwell’s scheme and defeat him once and for all?

This book was really complex and really fun to read at the same time. The romances between the team members may be tedious to some, but for those who like their young adult fantasy sprinkled with teenaged relationships, this will be a fun, although unnecessary, addition. This is the final book in the Zodiac Legacy series, and it is a really good conclusion that ties up all the loose ends and answers all the questions.
