The Wild Ones: Moonlight Brigade

The Moonlight Brigade was once an ancient group of animals that joined together to protect the wild animals in Ankle Snap Alley. Kit and Eeni, the main characters, find themselves in trouble when Coyote wants to take over and steal all the winter food from the other animals. Through new friendships and lots of teamwork, they create a new Moonlight Brigade, and together they outsmart Coyote and his gang the, Thunder River Rompers, and save Ankle Snap Alley.

This is my kind of book because it made me laugh out loud a lot! The part with the bats and their comedy shows was hilarious, and so was how the animals gave human objects funny names, like rumblers for cars.

I love books with animals as the main characters that have exciting adventures together. I am so excited for Kit finding out information about his mother, and I can’t wait to read more about it in book three! I would recommend this book for any kid seven and up who loves adventures!
