The Baby Tree
The mom and dad wanted the boy to know they were having a baby. Do you see her belly is getting big? That is because there’s a baby growing in it! But he wanted to know where babies come from. The teenager said they plant a seed and it grows into a tree and babies come out of it. But that isn’t true. His teacher said they come from the hospital. Then the boy asked his grandpa. His grandpa said they come from storks. But they don’t! The mailman said they come from eggs, but he didn’t know where to get those eggs. The boy felt bad so he asked his mom and dad. They told him there is an egg from the mom and a seed from the dad and the baby starts out very tiny and grows inside the mom until it gets too big and then it is ready to be born.
These are good pictures and I like to see them. I like to read this book. My favorite page has the picture of the baby tree, where the babies are growing on a tree.
