Sofia the First: Me and Our Mom

It is Mother’s Day, and Princess Sofia is excited to be on a special picnic with her mom, Queen Miranda. They have a special picnic every year just by themselves. When Sofia’s mom invites Amber and James, Sofia is upset that her mom wasn’t spending time with just her. Sofia’s witch friend, Lucinda, wants to help Sofia and does hexes to let Sofia have time alone with her mom. After Lucinda’s mom does some witch hexes, Sofia and her family find themselves on a floating island. On the island, Sofia is honest about her feelings and apologizes to Amber and James. Her witch friend, Lucinda, was honest with her mom too, and told her mom she was a good witch now. Both of the families shared a fun picnic together. Sofia had to learn that her mom was now Amber and James’ mom too. Sofia had to learn that she needed to give others a turn. I would recommend this book because Sofia’s mother was very kind to teach Sofia to give others a turn. Sofia learned to be happy when she learned that lesson. Sofia has a nice mother just like mine.
