Rebels of the Lamp, Book 2 Finders Keepers
Finders Keepers, at least, that’s what I thought. This book is about a trio of friends, Theo, Parker, and Reese. Oh, and Fohn-Rahm, Parker’s genie. This particular quad of friends is trying to stop Vesiroth from making the world a better place without wars and only having him as the world’s ruler. Along the way, Parker’s dad, who was still supposed to be in jail, mysteriously comes home early–no complaints, but just a tad sketchy. Naomi gets introduced as another friend, but, then again, why would she want to be friends with the only people in the “Historical Math Club”?
Finders Keepers is a book that hooks you in from the beginning, and once you stop, you want more. Since I started from book two, I expected there to be a lot of things explained in the first book but not explained in the second book. But surprisingly, little–almost none–of the unexplained details were in there. Props to the author. Overall, this is an amazing addition to the Disney Hyperion book series.
