OMG… I Did It Again?!
One fall day, April Appleton wakes up to find a stampede of elephants walking through her neighborhood. Then she realizes she did it – April is a witch. She once turned her brother Austin into a dog (long story). She texts her friends Eve LaRue and Grace Galapagos, but when she tries to go to Grace’s house, April’s mother is worried April will be trampled by elephants and won’t let her leave. So April calls Grace and Eve to explain what happened. Her friends say they will try to come over. While April waits, she takes out her spell book, the Book of Magie. It is written in French, so April is unable to read it. Luckily, Eve knows French and is surprised about the page April is looking at that is about dream magic. April had a dream the night before that she was flying over elephants and she wished that the elephants were in a safe place. April’s first attempt to undo the spell doesn’t work. What will April do?
I would totally recommend this book to kids who are ages nine to eleven that like magic and adventure. I love this book because of the story itself; just so interesting. The author has true talent.
