Minnie and Moo: Hooves of Fire
As a little kid, I used to read the “Minnie and Moo” books for beginning readers. When I first got a “Minnie and Moo” chapter book for middle readers a long time ago, I didn’t like it very much. But then I received Minnie and Moo: Hooves of Fire by Dennys Cazet to review and I found out that I liked it. In this book, Minnie and Moo decide to put on an animal talent show to raise money to give to Mr. and Mrs. Farmer so they can buy a new tractor. Animals from their farm and other farms come to recite poetry, play music, tell jokes, and put on a magic show. Minnie and Moo have to keep Elvis the Rooster from taking over everything, the sheep from using bad language, and also have to deal with the hyenas, weasels, and Slick the Fox because they might take the money box that holds all the cash.|It all works out in the end, but there are lots of exciting adventures along the way. Those ages 7 to adult should like this book.
