Mae and Gerty and the Matter with Matter

Mae and Gerty and the Matter with Matter is a book about sisters who unknowingly start exploring matter. While Gerty didn’t know exactly what she was doing, Mae thought she was just making big messes and did not want to help her sister until she realized she could help her little sister learn all about matter. Like how to move it how to push, pull and move matter.

While playing with bubbles, Gerty learned that matter could be in three forms, gas, liquid, and solid; plus, they are fun to pop. Mae and Gerty then decided to be scientists together.

I think this was a really cute book as the writer and illustrator showed Gerty as a typical crazy toddler; I should know, I have a little sister. The illustrations are cute too! Also the back of the book has a fun bubble recipe!
