Even If I Fall
Even If I Fallis a deeply emotional book about two broken people who may be the only ones in the world that understand each other. Brooke’s brother is in jail for confessing to the murder of his best friend, Calvin. The confession results in everything becoming muddled and broken beyond repair. As the brother on the opposite side of the spectrum—the one whose sibling was murdered—Heath, experiences the repercussions. One day, both Heath and Brooke find themselves in each other’s proximity out on the road. Brooke offer Heath help and he accepts it. The two eventually start meeting in secret, as they slowly start to heal each other. The pain and anguish these two main characters endure is raw and heartbreaking. I recommend having a few tissues nearby to help with all the emotions you’ll no doubt feel. I think Brooke and Heath were dealt a terrible hand but I liked how they were able to turn a thunderstorm into a rainbow.
If you’re a reader who enjoys highly emotional reads that help inspire you to be all that you can be, this is for you.
