Bella’s Fall Coat
Bella is a little girl who has a favorite fall coat that Grams made her. Bella is getting too big for her coat, but it is her favorite and she wants to keep it forever. Bella plays outside in her coat, picking up leaves, carrying apples, and running with geese. Soon, Bella’s coat is ruined and she asks Grams to fix it. Instead, Grams stays up really late and makes Bella a new winter coat. The next morning the snow starts to fall and Bella loves her new coat. It is now her new favorite coat that she wants to keep forever.
I really liked Bella’s Fall Coat. The illustrations were my favorite part because they are bright and different than other books, almost like patchwork or textured. My favorite part of the book was the end when Bella makes a snowman and uses her fall coat on the snowman. It looks like she used coat thread as hair on the snowman. I would recommend Bella’s Fall Coat to kids who are in preschool.
