Amelia Bedelia Chapter Book #6: Amelia Bedelia Cleans Up
I read the book Amelia Bedelia Cleans Up. It took me a week to finish it. In this book Amelia is a kid. In her other books, she’s a grown-up.
Amelia Bedelia Cleans Up is about Amelia and her two friends Holly and Heather. While they were riding their bikes, Amelia saw an empty lot. It was next door to a spooky house. Then she decided to go through the empty lot. Amelia scraped her knee and elbow. The three friends decided the lot would make a great place to meet for their club. But the lot was very trashy. Amelia thought it would be a good idea to clean it up.
The next day Amelia and her parents went to clean up the lot. A week later, her two friends Holly and Heather and their parents started helping out too. Two weeks after that, the empty lot was clean. Everybody was glad. The next day, they found out it was for sale. Amelia, Holly, and Heather were sad about that. The lady next door to the lot was selling it because she needed the money to repair her house.
If you want to find out the rest, you have to read the book yourself. Amelia Bedelia Cleans Up is a perfect book for kids ages six to ten.
