Zeke Meeks vs the Annoying Princess Sing-Along

Zeke Meeks vs. The Annoying Princess Sing-Along is a book about a boy named Zeke and his little sister Mia who loves a TV show called Princess Sing-Along. For her birthday she was going to the Princess Sing-Along concert with her friends, but at the last minute her friends all had to cancel because they got sick. Zeke had to make a hard decision…do something he HATED to make his sister feel better, or do what he wanted to do. You’ll have to read the book to see what he decides.

My favorite part of the book was when Zeke dressed his dog up in a pink tutu and a purple bow to make his sister feel better. He wasn’t always nice to his sister, but he still wanted her to not be sad on her birthday. My least favorite part of the book was when they talked about farting and dog poop.

I thought the book was okay. I wouldn’t read it again, but I think that boys in third and fourth grade would probably like this book. Some girls might think it’s funny, but I didn’t think it was that funny. I will tell some of my friends about it, but not all of them.
