You’re Pulling My Leg!: 440 Human-Body Sayings from Head to Toe

This book has four hundred body-related sayings. I love the pictures. They are literal and funny. The first pages are about your head. A head of lettuce is a lettuce plant shaped like a head. The zombie bunnies are funny. The next part is about faces. The pictures are about somebody stealing a doll. “Rolling your eyes” is my favorite. The cat takes his eyes out of their sockets and rolls them. I like “in a pig’s eye.” It’s funny. The little guy is trying to get the ball from the big guy, and the pig is encouraging him, but it’ll never happen. I liked the “list as long as my arm.” It was a list for the beach. The hearts dance and are happy at the hoe down. On the other page, the hearts are unhappy. There are a lot of “it” characters in the book.

The index shows where you can find different parts of the body. I liked all of them, but my favorite parts of the body were: the back and the eye. It’s like lots of little stories on every page. They are cartoons. It isn’t very hard to read. People who want to know more sayings should read this book. I learned new sayings. This book is super funny.
