Description
In the city, a statue of a wolf longs to be more famous,. It wants to be seen more and get more attention. One day, the wolf decides to leave its pedestal for a new location. It finds that everything is already taken or nothing seems as good as at home, so it returns to its old spot. After returning, it realizes it was missed by the regulars who come by on the daily. It just goes to show the grass isn’t greener on the other side.
We liked this book and how the illustrations are drawn. The colors of the city scape are nice as well. My younger sister really struggled with if this was a statue wolf or a real wolf, and if it was a statue how was it able to move and change its poses so frequently. It may be a little confusing for little readers.
