With a Friend by Your Side

We rated this book:

This book shows how many fun thing you can do with a friend. You can take pictures sticking your tongue out, share your ice cream, play robot, or try out costumes. With a friend, amazing things can happen. Long crazy slides, jumps in the water or sharing colorful snacks; carrying a big inflatable canoe all together or write all over your hands; or just sharing secrets and special hugs. You may play basketball or just read a book, or camp outside the house in a tent. Your friends always cheer you and celebrate victories with you. Friends may come in different colors, but they are always fun to have around.
I loved this book because it has a lot of pictures of kids, and all of them were smiling and showing funny faces. My favorites were the one with the girls painting their tongue blue; the two kids wearing a robot-head shaped cardboard; the many kids carrying the canoe all over their head; and the two girls camping at night in a tent. Some were also beautiful nature pictures, showing rainbows and trees and lakes you can dive into. I also liked the map showing where all those kids lived.
