Wipeout of the Wireless Weenies: And Other Warped and Creepy Tales (Weenies Stories)
The Wireless Weenies and other Warped and Creepy Tales is written by David Lubar. It’s a collection of, well, warped and creepy tales! All of these stories follow a different plot line and have no related characters. It features zombies, monsters, and weenies.
Some of these stories show possibly an underlying message, and some of them just interesting ideas. All of the stories mainly feature kids. A lot of these kids get payback for what they’ve done, or they make mistakes, and sometimes things just go wrong. Sometimes hate and ignorance kills them.
Sometimes it’s good when the bad things happen, because they happen to the right people sometimes. This book also features modern-day problems like technology ruling our lives.
I think this book will be good for both boys and girls, because it features problems for both boys and girls. I give this book four out of five stars. I think ages 10 to 12 would enjoy this book. Just to quickly clarify, I would like to say even though these are creepy and very well-written tales, these are not very scary and will probably not scare young children from ages 9 to 12 (but I recommend 10-12).
