Willow and the Wedding
Willow loves spending time with her Uncle Ash. When Uncle Ash says that he is marrying David and they ask Willow to be the flower girl, she is very excited. But at weddings there is lots of dancing and Uncle Ash doesn’t like to dance. Mama says that Uncle Ash used to be a very good dancer, but a long time ago other kids laughed at him, and now he doesn’t dance anymore. Can Willow get her Uncle Ash to dance at his wedding???
I really liked Willow and the Wedding. I like that Willow was a flower girl, and this summer my sister and I get to be flower girls at my aunt’s wedding. I can’t wait to dance with my family, just like Willow did. I really loved the illustrations because they were soft and colorful. In the illustrations, I liked the sign at the wedding that said “All you need is love…and a donut.” I also really liked looking at Willow’s doodles on the inside cover of the book. This book teaches that even if someone laughs at you, keep doing what you love, like dancing.
