Who Wants a Hug?

Who Wants a Hug? is about a bear who loves to give hugs. There is a stinky skunk who does not like hugs. Instead, the skunk gives punches. Nobody likes Skunk, but everyone loves Bear. Skunk doesn’t like Bear because he’s always happy, so Skunk decides to play tricks on him. He tries to trick Bear with a stinky fish, stinky garbage, and a stinky balloon, but Skunk gets tricked instead. Skunk finally lets Bear give him a hug. After that, Skunk says, “Wow! That was great! Can I have another one?”

I think that this book is hilarious. I like all the pictures, especially when all the stinky stuff goes on Skunk, and Bear finally gives Skunk a hug. My favorite picture is in the middle of the book when all it says is, “pop,” in very big letters. That’s when the stinky balloon pops on skunk. I also like when Bear says, “poor Skunk,” every time Skunk gets tricked instead of Bear. He always tells Skunk that he’ll save a hug for him for later. I think that this is a great book, and I recommend it to all of my friends.
