Where’s the Baboon?
Where’s the Baboon? is a story and a hidden word game. There are a bunch of animals going to a birthday party. But if you want to figure out what’s happening with the animals along the way, you have to answer questions, like “Who is the headmaster?” The best way to find the answer is that question is to get a piece of paper and pencil and write down the clues. The clues are the letters in red. When you put the red letters together, they spell different words, which are the answers to the questions. So the red letters in “headmaster” are H-A-M-S-T-E-R. That’s the answer to that question.
I love books where I have to find things. After figuring out the animal clues, I had to find the animals. That was fun! The pictures are really great, too. My favorite pictures are when the ostrich is staring at an apple, and another picture when the ostrich is looking right at me. There’s also a picture of a cow juggling mice, and another one where one of the animals left behind poop. But you don’t know who did it until you figure out the clue. It is a fun book!
