Where Wonder Grows
Where Wonder Grows is a lovely book. There is wonder in all of us, but sometimes we need help finding it. In this story the grandmother wants her grandchildren to pause and reflect to see how wonderous the world around us truly is. One can look right in their own backyard to see simple items in a garden aren’t exactly as they seem, but they have their own story to tell. How was the rock formed? Certainly, not overnight and it has its own story to tell, how far it has traveled and how it has changed over time.
This is an absolutely beautifully illustrated book. I really enjoyed how each page seemed to be brought to life through the muted colors. I really like how this story demonstrates the different generations within a family learning and growing from one another. Once you read this book you will look outside at random objects in a different light and wonder about them.
