Where I Live
Where I Live by Brenda Rufener is a very inspirational novel. It’s about a young girl named Linden Rose. After Linden’s mother died, she had no one to care for her. So she became homeless. Linden has been living in her high school for the past few months. People walk through her kitchen (the cafeteria), living room (the library), and bedroom (the locker rooms) every day. Linden is a very strong girl, but living alone all your life has some challenges. You can’t just push through. When Linden meets her two best friends, Ham and Seung, she instantly feels as if she has found her family. But when Seung and Ham start seeing different people, she starts to feel isolated and alone again.
Linden’s story is a very inspirational and amazing story that people can relate to. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it!
