Where I Belong
Where I Belong is a fun and interesting story about Brendan and his adventures. Brendan, a foster kid, doesn’t quite fit in. Everyone thinks he’s a freak which makes him a target for bullies. Brendan has a mind of his own, though. One day, he builds a tree house in the woods, not that far away from his house. Brendan spends most of his time in his tree house, drawing, carving wood, etc. When Brendan must go to summer school, he finally makes a friend, Shea. Shea and Brendan explore the woods and meet the Green Man. Brendan believes the Green Man rules and protects the forest. Brendan hangs out with Shea and the Green Man as much as he can. Then, one day, he realizes something is wrong. What will happen to Brendan and the Green Man?.
I would give this book four and a half stars. I think it was very interesting and I will recommend it to friends. I think Where I Belong is a great book because you never knew what was going to happen to Brendan and what he was going to do, making the story exciting. The story shows that anyone can become a friend.
