When the Animals Saved Earth: An Eco-Fable

At first, the animals lived in peace. Then the humans came. The only one who cared about the animals was a boy named Adam. All the other humans captured the animals. Adam heard them crying and snuck out into the forest. He helped the animals summon the spirit king, Bersaf. He told everyone to gather in his court. The animals told what they thought of the people. They yelled at the humans for capturing them. The humans disagreed with what the animals said. What would Bersaf do about the argument? This story could have happened anytime, but the first version was written 1,000 years ago. This story took place all over the planet. It shows that bad things lead to bad things. The story was told through colorful pictures and descriptive text. The humans had been dragging the animals to their market. Not only that, but they killed them. It started with happy pictures, but then they’re sad pictures.

This book would be good for kids who like nature and the earth. I liked it because it had a surprising ending. This book would have been better if it wasn’t so sad.
