One day, a dad decides that his son is old enough to see the Universe. They get dressed very warm, because dad announces that the Universe is very cold, although not too far. It was indeed very cold because big puffs of steam would come out of their mouth.
On the way to the universe is very mysterious, and dad stops at the supermarket to buy provisions, but the provisions are only a packet of gum. The kid seems very confused, as they walk a long time, pass by the park and all stores that are closing down for the evening. He is tired, although he said he isn’t, and they just keep walking. Dad whistles during the walk, and picks up his son in order to jump cross a stream of water. They arrive at a place with no street lights, and go up to a small hill. There they chew their gum. Dad asks him to look around, and he recognize the place as the one where people would walk their dogs. The child thinks this is the universe, but dad asks him to look up. There it is! Thousands of stars in the sky, and dad knows all of their names. One of them is named Big Dog, and at that point dad starts smelling something funny. He has stepped on dog’s poop and his boot is all dirty. His son is pointing at it and laughing. Dad loses his enthusiasm and they walk back home. When mom asks how was the universe, the child answers that it was both beautiful and funny.

I found this book quite boring, the pictures were not great and it did not make me laugh much either.
