There are two kids in this book who are packing things up for a picnic. First the kids and their parents gather food from a community garden and farmer’s market. Then they go to the picnic. After the picnic, they get up and exercises and the girl in the book rests while observing a bee on a flower.

The book teaches kids about healthy things to do for your body like eating healthy, drinking water or milk, exercising and resting or spending some time being quiet. It talks about what kinds of foods are healthy and give you energy. Things like yogurt give you energy and are good for you and it’s one of my favorite snacks.

I like the illustrations. They make me think that the two kids in the book could have drawn the illustrations. I like that the girl on the cover has the same kind of water bottle I use. Another neat thing about this book is that it has paragraphs that teach about the way to be healthy, but it also is like a comic book because there are little bubbles where the kids talk to each other. I love comic books so this made the book fun too.
