What Lives in the Woods

Ginny hears that instead of going to a writing workshop with her best friend, she’s going to spend her summer in a breaking down, spooky mansion in the middle of nowhere surrounded by creepy woods. She’s not excited.

But then Ginny find out that the mansion is associated with rumors of monsters. Then, a boy warns her to beware. Ginny understands why when she discovers that the mannequin in her bedroom can move, a ticking noise that never seems to stop, and shadowy figures that look like people. The worst part? They all seem to be going after her.

This story was interesting. I really liked the part where Ginny gets locked in her bedroom with the moving mannequin. I liked the characters and what they added to the story. I think people who like scary but not too scary books would like reading this.
