What Can I Do When I Grow Up?: A young person’s guide to careers, money – and the future

People are always asking the same question: What do you want to do when you grow up? It is a hard question for someone such as myself because there are many things I would like to do when I grow up. This book is fascinating because it has so many different kinds of jobs in it, some of which I didn’t know existed, such as a cloud chief architect, which is nothing like it sounds like and actually has to do with how computers store information. This book has twenty job profiles that tell about each job and what you have to do for each. This book also has information on how to get a job and why a job and money are important. It also asks the question, “what do you enjoy?” which I think is important for a job. This book has some colorful illustrations and some very interesting information on jobs. I especially like the small journal entries or questions that are asked at the end of every chapter. I think this is a fun book to read to learn about what I would like to do when I get older. Game designer and safari guide are on the top of my list.
