Welcome to Dog Beach: The Seagate Summers Book One
Life at Seagate is wonderful, you can be happy without a worry there. Hardly anything changes there, until one summer Remy’s life changed, her best friend Bennett is hanging out with a boy named Calvin and his twin sister Claire. Her other best friend Micayla is staying at Seagate year after year, and also hanging out with other friends too. On top of that Remy is still sad that her dog Danish died that past December. She is trying to find a way to get her friends back together, and learns it’s okay for things to change. If your friends are ignoring you or if you don’t like change then this is the book for you; all you need to do is speak your feeling out Remy showed that after she learned change is good. I feel this book is a realistic fiction, and it is about real life situations and has many morals. The author did a really good job making the reader feel connected to the characters. I enjoyed this book and you might too after you finish this book you might like Lisa Greenwald’s other books!
