Ways to Make Sunshine (A Ryan Hart Novel (1))
Ways to Make Sunshine is a great story about a little Black girl named Ryan. Ryan is a name that means king. Her family is moving to a new house; it’s actually an old house, but it is new to them. At school, Ryan has a talent show coming up but she has a fear of speaking in front of people. Even though she and her family are going through some struggles, somehow Ryan always finds a way to be positive and make a little bit of sunshine out of even the darkest situations.
I think Ways to Make Sunshine is a good read. It helped me to realize that I can have a better attitude about things. This is a good story for people who almost always think negatively and let their problems affect their attitudes. Ryan is a great example of “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” Children as young as seven years old can enjoy this story. So grab a copy of Ways to Make Sunshine and curl up for a good read. It will be like drinking a cold cup of lemonade on a hot summer day!
