A story about a boy who has a dog that lives at the police station since his mom is allergic to dogs. The plot was entertaining especially where the dad dresses up in a pink suit with a diaper. The characters were easy to relate to because they have a really busy family schedule like mine. The language kept me interested in the story since I’m also searching for a family dog. The moral of the story is not to jump to conclusions sometimes things are not quite as you think they are. The author shows us this with Waylon trying to figure out the mystery of his mom being gone daily from home. The illustrations depicted clearly show the mood of the characters. This book is good for ages eight and up and those who love dogs. This is the third book in the series and I would like to read more about his adventures. I would recommend this book because it was exciting and I couldn’t wait to hear the end.
