Wally the World’s Greatest Piano-Playing Wombat

Wally just knows that he is the best piano player… until his friend Wylie comes along. Is Wylie even his friend? Or just a competitor? One thing is for sure, Wally will test his skills trying to beat Wylie. And Wylie will test his skills trying to beat Wally. It definitely seems that a little competition makes everyone work harder, but you can still be friends with your competitor.

This book is super cute. I love that the main characters are wombats. Most people don’t even know what a wombat is. The illustrations are great and I love how each character has their own color of music notes. The text is fun and easy to read. As a fellow piano player, I really enjoyed this book because there aren’t many books out about piano players that I have found.
