We rated this book:

This book is about waiting, just like the title says. It is also about time and how different events in nature happen at different times.

There are five main characters and each is waiting for something different. They are toys lined up on a windowsill. My favorite character is the dog on a sled that is waiting for snow because he is so small and cute. At one point in the story, a really neat elephant comes to visit them, but then he left because he broke. That part was sad. My purple dragon toy broke, but I can still play with him.

The illustrations in Waiting are cool. My favorite picture in this book is the picture of the dog when the snow is coming down. The puppy is smiling a lot because he has been waiting all that time for the snow.

I would recommend this book to kids that are not patient. I think it will help them become more patient. Waiting can be fun when you’re waiting for something exciting!
