Visiting You
Visiting You by Rebecka Sharpe Shleberg is about a boy who is on a train to visit you (I don’t know who “you” is, though), and he meets lots of people on the way. The boy talked to them, and the people were missing their loved ones, like a dad missing his daughter, a mom missing her son, a husband missing his wife. The boy said the strangers looked grouchy, but they were all actually very kind to the boy. I thought the boy was very brave to talk to strangers. The book is about love and how much the people missed the ones they loved. It’s about a journey of love. I thought the story was peaceful and loving. I really liked the illustrations very much. I liked the shady, autumn, and peaceful colors. I like the cover of the book because it has all the characters, and I like the hearts falling from the sky.
