Vicarious: A Novel

We rated this book:

Vicarious was fantastic in both plot and the execution of the plot. Action-packed, mysterious, and featuring a heroine who defines “strong,” this is a book you must not miss, especially if you’re into sci-fi, thrillers, and mysteries that keep you guessing until the very last page. And this one kept me reading well into the night until I could finally figure out what was going on. Vicarious is one of those books where you think you know what’s going on but you really don’t. New clues emerge and the story does a complete one-eighty that you’ll never see coming. Winter is trying to find out how her beloved sister died. She is able to see this through VISE, a way to record experiences for other people to buy through a headset. A VISE of how Rose died is then sent to Winter’s boyfriend, Gideon. But the thing is, Winter starts finding out a bunch of things that had been kept from her. All she wants to do, though, is find her sister’s killer, and she won’t stop until that day comes. The ending was so amazing that I’m sad that I have to wait for the next book. You need to buy this book because you’ll regret not reading it sooner!
