How far would you go to save someone you love? This is a thrilling fantasy story about a girl named Jeni Stonewall. She and her family are going on a riverboat cruise. What is meant to be a relaxing (and much-needed) vacation quickly turns into a perilous adventure. Jeni’s boyfriend, Ice, who is supposed to join them on vacation, goes missing under mysterious circumstances.

Is the beautiful girl Ice meets at a party to blame? Is she actually a girl at all? Most importantly, can Jeni find Ice and break the curse before it is too late?

I loved this book because it was exciting and suspenseful. This book masterfully combines legend with magic in a relatable, modern-day setting. The characters are written in a very engaging way – I was scared for Jeni and her friends every time they were in danger, and I was rooting for them to come out on top!

I would highly recommend this book to more mature readers. It is a fantastic story full of intrigue, romance, and Celtic lore in which the thrills keep the reader turning the page until the very end!
