Upside-Down Magic
In order for Nory to pass the test to get into Sage Academy, she has to turn into a small black kitten, but every time she tries she turns into a Bitten (a Beaver kitten) or a Dritten (a dragon kitten). Finally! It is time for the very important test that Nory’s father wants her to pass. Though she practiced and practiced, she did not pass, so she is sent far away to live with her aunt. Instead of being put into a fancy private school, she is sent to public school, and is put in a class called Upside Down Magic where she is put with other kids with wonky magic. This story is about Nory’s life and what it is like to be sent far away from your family, and to live with no one but your aunt.
Upside Down Magic is a fun, wacky, cool book that makes me happy. I think it is a great book. It is one of my favorite books, but I really wish the book was longer.
